Congratulations to Chancellor’s Professor Nicolas Papadopoulos , co-author of the paper that has won the 2016 Hans B. Thorelli Award from the Journal of International Marketing. Professor Thorelli is an elected fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences of Sweden and the AIB. A former member of the US President's Consumer Advisory Council, Thorelli has been a US representative to the OECD in Paris.

Graves resulted in the release in 1963 of the tool INTOP, which was employed for teaching in over 160 institutions world-wide over the period 1963-1995. Thorelli received his M.A., LL.B., and Ph.D. from the University of Stockholm, and also an honorary Doctor of Economics from Goteborg University in Sweden. His doctoral thesis on the origins of US antitrust policy was published in three countries. Since then, Thorelli has published 10 books, and over a hundred articles.
